Hey Brossy Woman!

I hope you all have been able to use this time to do something that at best boosts your productivity or at minimum keep your anxiety at bay and helps you find some happiness in this unusual time. After about 4 weeks, I think I’ve had a run-through of all the emotions. First going from “you’ll be okay” to “but what if you’re not” to “you’re definitely not” to “I can’t get anything done” to “alright, what’s next.” I truly wish I was a person that could immediately channel all these emotions into checking everything off the to-do list at once, but that has not been my experience up until this point. I’ve mostly been in a “tune out the noise” mode that has led to me watching and listening to old and new podcasts, movies, or television shows. I’m not sure where you may be in the range of emotions that may come about, but in case you need a little escape (which is 100% okay) here is a list of outlets that have kept me until this point.

TV Shows (Current/Cable)

  • Chicago Med, PD, Fire – Hulu
  • New Amsterdam – Hulu
  • The Good Doctor – Hulu
  • Law & Order SVU – Hulu
  • Blue Bloods – CBS

TV Shows (Subscription Series)

  • All American – Netflix & CW *season over*

  • Greenleaf – Netflix *season over*
  • Queen of the South – Netflix
  • *Locke & Key – Netflix Original
  • *Tiger King – Netflix Original
  • Jack Ryan – Amazon Prime Original

I have the complete series of Good Times on DVD. Always appropriate.

Movies

  • Nobody’s Fool – Hulu
  • Creed II – Hulu
  • What Men Want – Hulu
